Mr. Florin Lowndes, graduated from the Institute for Fine Arts in Bukarest, lived and worked in both communistic and capitalistic societies; after escaping to the United States became internationally renowned for his architecture related art works; since moving to Germany he is known as a free thinker, writer, lecturer, and founder of the Center for Heart-Thinking. His published works include “Das Erwecken des Herz-Denkens”, Stuttgart 1998 (The Awakening of the Heart-Thinking).

Heart-Thinking: An Archetypal Epistemology for the Humanities and the Sciences

We propose an integrative epistemology, called “heart-thinking” or “multilevel integrative cognition,” grounded on recent research in the social sciences, to help overcome the current split between art and science.
